This is a lovely beach view two-bedroom, two-bath Palm Beach Club condominium, just across the street from the pristine, undeveloped beach, right at the gates of Fort Pickens, and adjacent to the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Enjoy long beach walks on beaches the way nature intended for them to be.
King in master; one queen and a full trundle in guest room, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area bring the total sleeping to six (both bedrooms located on lower level). The kitchen has been recently renovated and redesigned to make it much more spacious than is normally the case with this floor plan. The kitchen and living area are open and ideally set up for entertaining. This is not your father’s Palm Beach Club condo.
Private Gulf facing balconies off of both the living area and master bedroom offer an ideal place for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. This complex offers a Sound front community pool and easy access to the undeveloped beach directly across Fort Pickens Road. There is also a great beach area on the Sound side that is perfect for small children or those who prefer calmer water.
A single covered parking spot is reserved for this unit, which can accommodate two average length vehicles parked one in front of the other.

Considering we did not have use of the balconies due to maintenance, the condo in of itself was pleasant. To compliment Paradise Rentals, the company did right by us and I have zero issues with this company. Shall I return to Pendacoka in the future, I will definitely look at this rental agency again. Now our trip was awesome until Thursday night of the 15th. The area suffered a direct tornado strike causing some damage and a loss of power. Considering the issue of no power, on going bad weather, and the heat we simply packed up and left early. One for the books to say the least.

The location is as good as it gets. Both the Gulf and Sound sides give a perfect way to enjoy the privacy of a morning walk or jumping over waves. Yes, at 63 I still jump. We watch the Blue Angels fly over from the base. Take the FREE trolley to the center area of the beach for restaurants and more.The unit does have an elevator to the 2nd floor which is tremendously helpful in unloading and reloading (bang). Spacious, high ceilings, fun kitchen with counter for those that like to watch, cooking that is.The beds are ok, I’m usually so tired I forgot to notice. Bathrooms are fine, nothing special but gets the job done. Love coffee on the balcony in the morning and an adult beverage in the evening.So there, you have found a sweet spot. Heading back this Saturday.

Everything was pretty much as advertised. No complaints. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The closeness to the beach and the bay was about as good as it gets. Ideal location to enjoy the beautiful Gulf waters and not feel too crowded.

We were in town from Mobile,Al. to get some R&R and to "take in" a little Smooth Jazz. Overall, unit #244 was worth the mountain climbing. :)
The views from the double balconies are just fantastic and having direct access to the beach is so nice without being in a high rise.
Satalite TV going in and out was annoying. Prior guest have noted similar experiences in the guest register,so bring movies you may want to catch up on or try one of the few that are available.
The mattress in the master is very comfortable and to see the trolley go by daily was such a delight.

Almost didn’t write this review as I’m tempted to keep this info to myself. We’ve stayed at Palm Beach Club on and off for over twenty years. Also go to Destin and Gulf shores. Love this location though at the end of the strip with the Gulf on one side and sound on the other. There are no bad views from any condo and 244 did not disappoint. The renovations they’ve done to open the kitchen are beautiful (btw it’s very well stocked) and the tall ceilings make it feel huge. The unit was very clean and had lots of thoughtful extras such as books, movies and games (ms Pac-Man was a hit and prompted an ongoing tournament during downtime). I give this unit a 4.9 out of 5 stars-only 2 potential negatives: it was a little hard to keep this unit cool with those tall ceilings but we like it pretty cool-69 to 70. Could get it to 72-73 during the day and maybe 71-72 at night. Only other potential issue was the Uverse TV didn’t work well at all. Went off repeatedly the few time we had it on. Wasn’t an issue for us as we didn’t go to the beach to watch tv but I can imagine it might be a problem if it rains a lot on someone’s trip. The beach on the Gulf was amazing-so few people it felt private and is a shorter walk than many so don’t let the street in front scare you away. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved this location. It was just a short walk across the street to beach. The beach was beautiful and easy to get to. It is nice to have a place at the condo to wash off before going up to condo with 3 kids. It is nice to have all the amenities of home on vacation. This is the second year we have stayed in this condo for our vacation. It is at the calm end of the island and very relaxing.

Loved loved loved the location. Did I mention I loved the location:)! it is right before you get to the park there in Pensacola. It is secluded and away from main attraction spot.The way we like it! The condo was very nice and cozy. No complaints about the stay in condo. Will definitely go again to this location. We like being off the beaten path and to ourselves when it comes to vacation time.

We had a wonderful time at the Palm Beach Club. The condo was perfect and had all the little extras that made our stay comfortable and convenient. Rental agent was friendly and helpful!
This was our first time staying in Pensacola. Can’t say enough about how great our experience was. The rental company was very easy to deal with, and text us to let us know our condo was ready early for us to go ahead and check in. The condo was great and exactly like the pictures showed. Only problem we had was they gave us the wrong door code. But a quick call to the office and I had the new code. That was the only problem we had with anything. We will definitely consider renting from them again
